SCOPE
Design a high-stakes project within a tight timeline, accommodating diverse stakeholders and user groups sharing the same space, while incorporating acoustic and COVID-19 design considerations, and ensure successful delivery to meet the Police Commissioner's satisfaction within the prescribed budget.
KEY ASPECTS
Gabbert Design were engaged for the design of the headquarters for the NT Emergency Services.
This included new offices, reception, amenities, kitchen and converting an old social hall into large Emergency Operations call centre.
The project was highly technical both in services and construction detailing, with careful consideration required for the acoustic treatment of areas.
