SCOPE
To embark on the creation of a high level concept of the proposed multi-purpose ship lift. The concept and animation were derived from previous marine experience and collaboration with industry. The concept demonstrated to proponents the project's potential, functionality, and merit.
KEY ASPECTS
Functional representation of the ship lift.
The design had to link with the greater functional use of the Common User Facility.
Ship lift research was required in order to provide a high-level concept that would stand up to potential stakeholder project assessment.
